Welcome to the medical office of Dr. Patty Jackson and Dr. Jim Theis. We are a small practice led by a husband and wife duo of primary-care doctors. We have been in practice at this location since the Spring of 2008.

Together with our dedicated staff, we are pleased to serve new and established patients. We are accepting new patients now and both doctors are on most major insurance plans in this area. Our office is open 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday, subject to adjustments during this period of public health emergency due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Jackson is a general internist. Dr. Theis is a family physician and certified ontological coach. To learn more about us, and our own special interests, click on our photo to the right.
Our first goal is to form a relationship that helps us provide you with long-term preventive health care, including sound advice and guidance on how to stay healthy.
In Addition, we provide:
- Diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, depression or anxiety, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
- Annual check-ups, as well as school or work-related physical examinations.
- Well-child care (Dr. Theis only) and routine treatment of childhood illnesses.
- Routine well-woman care, including pap smears and contraceptive counseling.
- Same-day or next-day appointments for most urgent problems.
- Sports medicine and treatment of acute injuries, strains, sprains and arthritis.
- Minor skin surgical procedures such as mole and skin tag removal, ingrown toenail repair, and treatment of plantar and common warts.
- Skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.
- Counseling on substance abuse and referral for treatment of drug and alcohol dependence. Dr. Theis is experienced in the use of naltrexone extinction therapy (sometimes called The Sinclair Method) in the treatment of alcohol use disorders.
- Ontological coaching (Dr. Theis only)
We offer a discounted fee for patients without medical insurance, who elect to pay cash at time of service.
When necessary, we facilitate admission (typically to West Jefferson Medical Center) for inpatient care.
